Description

This position will be primarily in Sand Point with training and possible rotations in King Cove, AK.

Job is very detail-oriented. Customer service and/or accounting experience is preferred but not required. Excellent math skills is helpful. Must be proficient in English, reading, writing and good communication skills. Must be a team worker with both customers & coworkers. Retail experience a plus. Job requires use of email, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel. Candidate must have ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and operate a forklift. Job requires cross training for Stockroom, tank farm and gas sales.

Stockroom duties include:

• Inventory, restocking shelves – some heavy lifting
• Gas Sales
• Keeping shelves clean, empty garbage containers & sweeping
• Accurately count back money, prepare cash drawer, and complete end of day balancing and deposits
• Other tasks as assigned

Tank Farm duties include:

• Transferring fuel from one tank to another and dispensing fuel to customers.
• Keeping precise and accurate records of fuel inventory daily, weekly & monthly.   Maintenance & inspections.
• Applicant must be able to work in inclement weather.
• Adherence to strict safety and compliance regulations required by law.
