 Vice President of Engineering 
Location: Phoenix, AZ 
Compensation: $150K - $175K 
  
Our client is the first complete patient - physician encounter automation platform that automates all clinical and operational workflows in a medical practice. Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to completely automate around the provider and free them from the burdens of data collection and EHR documentation and AR is used to take medical measurements. The result of the AI enabled documentation is automated care coordination, exact and personal consistency of care with gaps closure, increased patient throughput and reduced patient wait times. 
  
They are looking for a strong Engineering VP to oversee teams in UI, AI, AR, AWS. This position will manage teams of local and remote developers (~15) as they seek to revolutionize and automate medical visits.  You must be able to work locally with senior leaders to identify the strategic needs, manage JIRA, and then contribute and oversee the delivery to meet their customers’ needs. LLM familiarity and strong personal tech capability is a requirement.  
  
As the VP, Engineering, you will: 
  • Lead number of teams of local and remote developers as they seek to revolutionize and automate medical visits 
  • Assist in creating strong user experiences, system architectureand Large Language Models 
  • Implement sound machine learning techniques and database management  
  • Manage JIRA, review stories, review code, manage recruiting and hiring of developers as well as performance management    
  
As the VP, Engineering, your background should include: 
  • 10+ years managing a multi-disciplinary team in a highly technical environment 
  • 2+ defining system architecture for cloud services 
  • 3+ years as code reviewer 
  • 3+ years writing stories for development  
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, Angular, Nodejs, Redux, Postgress/MySQL 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and related tools (JIRA, etc.) 
  • Experience and knowledge of working with CICD including Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, or related products.
