Account Executive 
Location:  San Francisco, CA
Compensation:  $60-80K base plus sales commissions 
  
Our client has developed an AI-native operating system for modern restaurants. Their system unifies everything in one place - POS, payroll, scheduling, accounting, marketing campaigns, inventory, and purchasing - so teams can run smarter, faster, and more profitably with a single, intelligent platform. 
  
They are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive to join their team. 
  
As the Account Executive, you will: 
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and in-person visits to restaurant owners and decision-makers. 
  • Handle inbound leads and qualify them based on interest, need, and fit. 
  • Execute and refine inside-sales strategies and solution-selling techniques. 
  • Perform A/B testing to optimize messaging, sales tactics, and conversion rates. 
  • Consistently maintain high daily outreach activity to ensure strong top-of-funnel pipeline creation. 
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover customer pain points and priorities. 
  • Perform thorough qualification using BANT or similar frameworks. 
  • Present compelling product demos tailored to customer challenges. 
  • Manage the sales pipeline, move prospects efficiently through stages, and close deals. 
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) to ensure data integrity. 
  • Forecast revenue accurately and communicate pipeline status to leadership. 
  • Develop deep understanding of the restaurant industry and customers’ operational challenges. 
  • Educate prospects on how AI-driven automation improves efficiency and increases revenue. 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships to drive long-term customer success. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by positioning solutions that create measurable business impact. 
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to refine sales processes and strategies. 
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer insights. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and sales methodologies. 
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve messaging, demos, and customer onboarding experiences. 
  
As the Account Executive, your background should include: 
  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in restaurant tech or AI solutions. 
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills for engaging decision-makers. 
  • Experience in inside sales, outbound calling, and pipeline management. 
  • Critical-thinking skills to identify customer pain points and tailor solutions. 
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent). 
  • Ability to conduct persuasive demos and handle objections confidently. 
  • Familiarity with solution-selling and consultative-sales approaches. 
  • High adaptability to fast-paced, high-growth startup environments. 
  
Preferred Skills include: 
  • Prior experience selling to restaurant businesses or AI-driven SaaS solutions. 
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies like SPIN Selling, MEDDIC, or Challenger Sales. 
  • Understanding of restaurant operations, POS systems, or hospitality tech. 
  • Experience with high-velocity sales environments or short sales cycles.
