Senior Project Engineer

The PENTA Building Group is searching for Senior Project Engineers to join our team in the Rohnert Park, CA!
A PENTA Senior Project Engineer will help initiate and track RFIs, Drawings, and Submittals. You will be accountable for running subcontractor meetings and coordinating the subcontractors including the BIM model coordination.
At PENTA, a Senior Project Engineer will also:
- Initialize project document logs (RFIs, Drawings, Submittals, etc.).
- Track status and obtain permits to ensure no disruption in the construction schedule.
- Assist Superintendent and Safety Director with the creation of a project specific safety plan.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to create the Master Project Schedule.
- Assume responsibility for coordinating and tracking the distribution and storage of all project engineering documents, including: drawing sets, specifications, sketches, ASIs, permits, etc.
- Coordinate with the Project Safety Manager Project Superintendent to promote job-site safety.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to maintain the Master Project Schedule.
We trust that you have:
- 3-6 years of Project Engineer experience in Construction.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working on hospitality and/or tribal casino construction projects.
- Flexibility to travel to or fully relocate to Rohnert Park, CA for this project if not within local reasonable commuting distance.
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, preferred.
- Project Engineer level or Senior Project Engineer level will be considered based upon years of experience.
- Salary Range DOE $70,000 - $95,000
