This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage Peloton’s Digital Asset Library, as well as the organization, structure, and access to all digital materials. The Digital Asset Manager will work across the firm to ensure quality standards and searchability of digital content.   
  
Your mission – should you choose to accept it:   
  
  • Perform activities as a digital librarian/archivist related to classifying and archiving digital assets including technical & functional documentation, source code, process flows & playbooks, test plans & scenarios.
  • Partner with internal teams on digital asset transformation journey in areas of:
    • Technology / tool selection to aid in digital asset archiving process.
  • Requirements & design - Identify and apply appropriate metadata tags and taxonomies for digital assets.
    • Implementation & support of digital library
    • End user training for internal Peloton teams & governance process support
  • Assist and execute asset audits and data clean-up activities.
  • Research and implement best practices that will provide higher quality, and/or increase predictability of service delivery and user experience.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality and consistency across the system and working day-to-day to provide technical guidance.
  
Required Experience & Skills:  
  
  • Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with preference to candidates with a Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS) or Library Information Science (MLIS) with a core focus in Information Organization and Digital Information.
  • Consideration also for candidates who are currently pursuing MLIS degree.
  • Ideal candidate comes with strong cataloging and archiving experience and has worked with organizations to assist with the design on appropriate software and tools as well as the following:
    • Experience working with audio, video, and digital file formats.
    • Archives and record management training
    • Knowledge of metadata taxonomy, standards, and skills
    • Experience or Knowledge with DAM (Digital Asset Management)
    • User experience in digital production and digital asset management
  • Previous experience working in an Information Technology focused organization and Agile environment would be helpful.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; can articulate technical concepts and issues to all staff.
  • Eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment.
