Job Summary:
Payscale is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations, supporting the Go-To-Market (GTM) Organization. We are looking for an experienced leader that will help scale and optimize our processes, use of technology, and rules of engagement spanning GTM teams. This high visibility role will support both Commercial and Customer Experience teams, which include Marketing, pre-Sales and Sales, Onboarding, Support, Services, and Customer Success. As part of the Revenue Operations leadership team, you will have exposure to key senior leaders and executives across the business with an opportunity to drive alignment and bring a fresh perspective.
The ideal candidate has experience in sales/marketing automation, capacity planning, compensation plans, forecasting, and driving rep productivity. This role will partner with functional leaders to orchestrate a seamless internal and customer experience—at scale. You will be supported by a team of knowledgeable and hardworking RevOps analysts keen on learning best practices and growing in their careers. You will be challenged to think creatively, lead through ambiguity, and bring order to chaos as we optimize the way that Payscale accelerates revenue growth and increases operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Revenue and Customer Experience teams to design and execute scalable solutions that support GTM strategies and drive exponential growth
- Define and execute against a GTM tech stack strategy that both controls cost and facilitates key departmental goals, including optimized territory management, lead routing, customer interactions, etc.
- Own and evolve the forecasting motion on behalf of commercial teams to include new business, cross-sell/upsell, and renewals
- Oversee the operations component of compensation plans for quota carrying teams, including the design of spiffs and other incentives
- Partner with functional leaders to create a scalable/repeatable capacity planning motion
- Maintain, evolve, and enforce the ‘rules of engagement’ spanning GTM teams
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team to optimize the integrations across systems and reduce the need for manual intervention
- Partner with Deal Operations to reduce bottlenecks in the selling and renewing motions
- Own the roadmap and prioritization of key enhancements and break-fix items for Salesforce on behalf of GTM teams
- Support standards for GTM excellence in a high-performance culture, including key scorecards, agreed-to guiding metrics, operational design, and process
- Partner with Enablement / corporate PMO to roll out key process changes and enhancements
- Support the annual planning process in partnership with Finance and cross-functional leaders
- Build an inclusive, results-driven team culture where all team members have an opportunity to learn and grow
- 8+ years experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or similar ideally in the context of B2B SaaS
- 3+ years experience leading teams consisting of folks of varying experiences, backgrounds, and skillsets
- Experience working in a matrixed organization supporting large teams with varying roles (e.g., quota-carrying roles like Inside Sales, Account Management, and Customer Experience teams like Onboarding, Support, and Customer Success)
- You have an analytics mindset and are curious; you can ask the right questions to make data-driven decisions
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute in addition to fulfilling leadership responsibilities
- Ability to distill complex topics into simple decision points and next steps, especially with varying audiences in mind
- Thrives in ambiguity and can see the forest for trees to move the needle for the business
- You're a natural change agent who can bring others along for the journey; you excel at stakeholder management and can see problems from multiple angles
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft/Outreach, Gong, and ZoomInfo (or similar tools)
- Familiarity with Gainsight, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DemandTools, Asana, etc.
- Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
- A team player with a can-do attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $127,800 - $191,600, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 15%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
