Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements, technical specifications, and user scenarios.
  • Execute manual tests, including functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Perform detailed backend testing to verify data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across SQL Server and MongoDB databases.
  • Utilize API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger for manual verification of request-response behaviors, API integration, and error handling.
  • Document detailed bug reports and test outcomes, tracking issues to resolution using defect tracking systems such as JIRA.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product teams, and UI/UX designers to identify and address product issues.
  • Maintain detailed testing documentation including test scenarios, test cases, defect logs, and testing results.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover issues that may not be covered by scripted testing.
  • Advocate for quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester, ideally within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency in backend validation and manual database testing using SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of API testing, including manual validation using Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and plans.
  • Proficient in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to clearly document and communicate testing outcomes and issues.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and testing best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic familiarity with log analysis tools like Datadog, Kibana, or Sentry.
  • Exposure to testing within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB.
  • Understanding of basic scripting or test automation principles (preferred but not required).

Compensation  
For roles with compensation ranges:  
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the monthly base salary range for this position is 21,550 - 32,325 RON (Gross) per month, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
