Payscale's Customer Success organization engages with our customers through data driven, intentional interactions resulting in retaining our install base customers at a higher rate, maximizing customer lifetime value, accelerating customer time to value, and growing our recurring revenue as a result. 
 
What You Do: 
Lead a team dedicated to ensuring our customers achieve their desired outcomes through our products and services. This role is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences. 
 
Job Description: 
  • Hire and lead a high performing team of CSMs to proactively engage customers to increase production adoption ultimately leading to increasing customer retention
  • Execute new and existing CS strategies that increase customer health through adoption and engagement and serve as an escalation point with customers.   
  • Analyze success metrics and ongoing results on your team to inform onboarding, training, and mentoring strategies. 
  • Lead effective one on ones centered on accountability and results to support growth and further development on the team and in role. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of compensation trends and best practices, with the ability to align highly complex compensation strategies and philosophies with technology tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Account Management, and the rest of the Customer teams to ensure seamless customer journeys, from onboarding to adoption, and to resolve any customer challenges swiftly and effectively. Drive alignment between these teams during GTM transitions.
  • Assist on customer calls, provide feedback to facilitate growth, and distill themes forthe  broader leadership team, including CS, Marketing, Product, and Sales. 
  • Foster a High-Performance Culture: Cultivate a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence within the Customer Success team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development to build a high-performing, customer-centric team. 
Qualifications: 
  • 4+ years of Customer Success Management experience in a recurring revenue business 
  • 2+ years leading a team; experience growing, developing, and driving results is highly desirable 
  • Experience leading teams in HCM (human capital management) technology industry is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce and Gainsight preferred 
  • Bachelor's Degree

Compensation 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $105,400 - $158,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a commissions target of $50,000. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Location 

Payscale has an employee centric remote-first model that provides you the flexibility to do your best work in a space that supports you,while also finding time to collaborate in person for the moments that matter. 
 
In our remote-first model, employees can work from the location that works best for them. We do not have centralized corporate offices.Employees can choose to work from home, in company-paid co-working spaces, or any combination of the two that best suits their unique needs.
