What You’ll Do

  • Direct roadway production resources to produce a quality product, providing frequent peer reviews
  • Provide direction and guidance to other designers regarding plans production
  • Requires no technical supervision by senior staff, other than that required for the EOR to be in responsible charge
  • Complete tasks and projects within expectations of Project Manager, Supervisor or Task Lead
  • Serve as a resource to all roadway staff for production and technical assistance

What You’ll Need

  • High School diploma
  • Vocational Training course completion or equivalent college level courses is preferred
  • A minimum of 20 years of related experience
  • Other experience or training may be considered

What You’ll Bring

  • Expert in MicroStation or AutoCAD, including civil platforms (such as OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, Civil3D, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work efforts
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in an organized manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products
  • Ability to work with across other disciplines (roadway, structures and drainage, landscape, etc.) to identify and reduce design conflicts
