The Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure pricing is received from our refined product vendor sources and provided pricing communicated to key stakeholders across the company.
- Update, maintain, and upload daily pricing models into the ERP system, this also including weekend pricing rotation uploads (~one weekend/month).
- Validate and investigate contractual pricing discrepancies calculated by third parties for amounts to be invoiced to Parkland.
- Perform routine integrity and maintenance checks for error reduction, as well as drive improvements to current pricing processes.
- Support requests as it relates to pricing, including but not limited to, rack pulls, data validation, Power BI integrity, contract/transfer/customer pricing, symbol and item mapping, adjustment updates, and BU creation requests.
- Support contractual reporting for tracking and utilization by leadership and key stakeholders in the division/company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree would be an asset.
- 0-3 years of related work experience.
- Experience in refined product pricing is an asset.
- Experience in JDE, Power BI or other ERP pricing systems would be an asset.
- Advanced Excel analytical reporting skills is an asset.
- Ability to follow strict and timely daily processes is a must.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Strong ability to identify and solve problems with high attention to detail, think outside the box, and propose solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new foundations and tools quickly and effectively.
- Self-motivated and strong ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, but also collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work weekend rotations is a must (approximately one weekend/month; Saturday and Sunday morning).
