About the Role
Reporting to the Sr. Supervisor E-ZPass Customer Services, the Sr. Transportation Programs Analyst will be responsible for developing analytical tools to track all data related to related to the collection and reporting of toll revenue data. The ideal candidate will also be able to expand our reporting to provide data analytics on our revenue recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and enhancing the Revenue Recovery MS Access production databases.
- Running reports and analysis for internal and external clients and management.
- Performing research on accounts utilizing a combination of online systems and databases.
- Running Oracle SQL queries to extract violator data from the Customer Service Center database.
- Processing payment files received from external collection agencies for reporting and crediting purposes.
- Updating the Revenue Recovery metrics and dashboard.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to current processes.
- Occasional off-hours support required
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Applied Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of MS Access databases including the ability to create user forms, reports, queries and VBA code.
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel including creating VBA code.
- Expert knowledge of SQL including advanced Oracle SQL queries.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI or a similar dashboard tool.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to assess multiple requests and deliver quality work in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with providing insightful analytics on large data sets.
- Experience with SharePoint and Power Automate workflows.
- Experience with FTP sites and XML.
- Experience with MS Word mail merge.
- Knowledge of toll collection and/or back-office operations.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey anticipates that the actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on aspects such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal factors. The expected compensation range for this role is:
Minimum: $ 79,794 Midpoint: $ 103,721 Maximum: $ 127,660
In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits employees to work remotely a maximum of one day per week, subject to operational and business needs
