Sr. Product Validation Engineer
Description
- Wafer level characterization of CMOS imaging sensors.
- Determines how to test product features.
- Debugs initial silicon and validate design features.
- Determines root cause of problems (process or design-related).
- Validates automated silicon verification with bench testing and measurements.
- Correlates test results generated in Color Probe.
- Explains rational of test in probe and helps determine most effective method to implement test with coverage, potential overkill, and test time being the biggest factors.
- Determines test algorithms to target specific fail mechanisms.
- Prepares detailed descriptions for tests required during design validation cycle.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields, plus two (2) years of experience in NAND flash memory and system manufacturing test flow.
Required experience:
- Test strategy for embedded flash products per customer requirements, engineering specifications, and device characteristics.
- Development of methodologies to bring leading-edge 3D NAND Flash memory to markets by meeting DPPM, reliability, and yield requirements.
- Experience in electrical test programs written in C/C++ or Python to perform NAND Flash component and system-level electrical validation.
- Electrical failure analysis on faulty 3D NAND Flash components during product development, qualification, and ramp-up in the production line, using tools like Advantest to define the semiconductor failure model and a potential fix to catch such defects during mass production.
- Working with the design team, fab process, device team, reliability team, and product and test engineering team during all phases of 3D NAND technology development.
