What you’ll be working on

Lead projects from initial research to final testing, ensuring alignment with brand's vision and enhance the overall user experience.
 
Your day-to-day

  • Leads the design process for assigned projects. Plans and executes design activities from research to testing, ensuring alignment with user needs and project goals.
  • Leads user research efforts for complex projects. Analyses research findings and generate insights to directly influence design decisions and strategies.
  • Leads the execution of design work on complex projects. Ensures that designs are not only functional and user-centred but also aligned with business goals.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams, ensuring that design decisions are effectively implemented and that project goals are met. Facilitates communication between design and development teams.
  • Acts as a mentor to junior and mid-level designers. Provide ongoing feedback, support professional development, and help to build a strong, collaborative team environment.
  • Evaluates and implements new design tools, methodologies, and best practices. Drive innovation within the team, ensuring that design work stays ahead of industry trends.
  • Conducts user research and gathers insights to inform the design process, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Designs and iterates wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate and visualize user interfaces.
  • Develops user personas, user flows, and journey maps to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the user experience.
  • Creates visually appealing and intuitive interface designs that align with the brand identity and elevate the overall user experience.
  • Implements interaction design principles, including micro-interactions, animations, and transitions, to enhance user engagement and delight.
  • Collaborates with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
  • Conducts usability testing and gathers user feedback to continuously iterate and refine designs based on user needs and preferences.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design, and proposes innovative design solutions.
  • Manages design projects, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality and timely execution of design tasks.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
 
You should apply if you have
  • Bachelor’s degree Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field; or any equivalent education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been demonstrated/achieved. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex and impactful projects that demonstrate leadership in design execution.
    Highly skilled in all major design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Xd or Sketch, with knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to manage and contribute to complex design systems and workflows.
  • Solid understanding and of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design concepts.
  • Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback to inform design decisions
  • Knowledge of iOS & Android front-end development technologies and their impact on design implementation.

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS


Our process involves three stages:

  1. Resume Review & Short List.
  2. Initial Call (Depending on the role, a take home task may also be requested).
  3. Final Interview.
