Are you a skilled technician with a passion for mechanical repair? We're seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team and assist in maintaining and repairing rental power generators and air compressor equipment. If you have a knack for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing machine repairs, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose portable power generator and industrial rental compressor equipment.
  • Safely perform normal machine repairs.
  • Inspect, repair, maintain, overhaul, and rebuild engines and equipment.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Completion of the level 2 training program, OR
    • Five years of hands-on mechanical repair experience with power generators, compressors, diesel engines (military experience valued) OR
    • Graduation from an accredited technical school (minimum two-year program) with an emphasis on diesel engine or earthmoving repair and two years of experience.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines will be required. Position functions require normal dexterity and repetitive, frequent movements that involve the hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
