Job Summary: Performs any combination of the following duties to support service staff ensuring that the dining areas are sanitary and attractive.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests and Team Members in a friendly, open manner.
- Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members.
- Maintains knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.
- Sets bus carts up at beginning of shift and breaks down and cleans the bus cart at the end of their shift.
- Reduce turnover time keeping tables readily available for incoming guests.
- Removes dirty plates, glasses, cutlery, etc., and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.
- Wipes up spills, table tops and chairs in dining area, using damp sanitized cloth.
- Sweeps and mops floors as directed by supervisor.
- Helps maintain par levels of supplies for dining area.
- Replenish fruits for garnish, glassware, silverware, paper supplies and other items to their designated places.
- Wipe down walls by bus cart and the bus cart as necessary and at the end of the shift.
- Abides by all health codes and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Returns empty beer bottles at end of the shift to the loading dock.
- Must be able to maintain neat and well-groomed appearance in accordance with our grooming and appearance standards.
- Attends all meetings as required.
- Completes all required training satisfactorily.
- Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Works at other properties as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be flexible with shift and days off with ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, special events, etc., as needed.
- Must be able to meet physical requirement such as significant lifting up to fifty (50) lbs., along with bending, reaching, stopping, pushing, and pulling.
- You may be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
- Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke-filled environment.
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.
