Now we’re looking for a Data Protection Manager, you’ll be a part of our Global Compliance team.           
This is a global role with over 60 countries in scope, remote is a preferred manner of work.      
Target countries of employment: India, Cyprus, Turkey, and CIS (only Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijian).     
  
Job Overview: The ideal candidate will bring a mix of operational experience (running virtual and cross-functional projects), subject matter knowledge (e.g., knowledge of the GDPR, UK Data Protection Act) and technical competence (TOM, PIA/DPIA).            
     

Your Impact on the Mission:          

  • Assist the Global DPO in the management and delivery of the Group Privacy Program;
  • Assist with the project management and delivery of the Group Privacy Program core initiatives around key elements (timing, budget and resourcing requirements);
  • Assist the Global DPO in the Training and Awareness strategy implementation;
  • Assist organizations within the group in maintaining the processing records;
  • Act as the owner of the group’s data processing agreements and monitor third party DD;
  • Act as the owner of regulatory alignment;
  • Review PIA’s/DPIA’s to provide advice on new projects and platforms and services  (via One Trust);
  • Monitor the privacy legislative landscape including SA’s and court decisions and trigger change process in the affected documentation;
  • Serve as Data Protection Officer in certain jurisdictions or liaise with local country Data Protection Officers as applicable;
  • Working with IT and management to ensure appropriate TOM’s are in place;
  • Act as the contact person for SA’s;
  • Be a part of incident and breach investigations and DSARs as necessary;
  • Report Group Privacy Program status, plans, risks and KPI’s;
  • Act as an advisor for the enterprise leaders to ensure Group Privacy Program is understood and implemented.
What You’ll Bring to The Table:          
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or similar fields;
  • 5+ years of equivalent practical experience;
  • Working knowledge of international data protection legislation;
  • Ability to think outside of the box to deliver compliance solutions to internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders to improve processes and to negotiate priorities;
  • Experience managing assessments and translating results into business impact and recommendations;
  • Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences;
  • OneTrust certifications or willingness to obtain them quickly;
  • Fluent English;
  • IAPP certification(s): CIPP, CIPM, CIPT are strongly preferred;
  • Experience of working in a multinational company and a complex, matrixed environment is a significant plus.
