The Main Purpose Of This Job:

The primary role of a Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist is to work collaboratively with the direct sales team, clients & partners to provide  support for all pre-sales solution aspects of the sales cycle.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE –

  • Experience in M365 platform and Modern Work (remote work security, compliance, teamwork, insights, meeting and calling) preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation) and how they factor into cloud and hybrid solutions
  • Broad knowledge of and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architecture for communications solutions required
  • Strong leadership to influence key technical decision makers, influencers, senior executives, industry decision makers and or boards
  • Experience in SaaS based collaboration platforms of Microsoft 365
  • Experience in Productivity and Mobility solutions of Microsoft 365
  • Thorough knowledge of in Audio, Video conferencing technologies
  • A good understanding of the architectural principals of cloud-based platforms that include SaaS components.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex solutions utilizing best practices in server selection, virtualization design and deployment, highly redundant/high availability server configurations
  • Substantial previous experience in technical roles within a systems integration environment
  • Strong understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • Demonstrate knowledge of market, verticals, horizontals, business administration and business change
  • Ability to lead technical design workshops with the client and Softline stakeholders
  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
  • Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously
  • MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certified or prepared to attain within 3 months of joining.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to explain complex technical concepts in layman terms along with impactful presentation skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS –    

  • Help customers make technical decisions to build tomorrow’s business and IT Solutions based on Microsoft online services and solutions.
  • You will be the subject matter expert on your local sales team leading technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, production ready pilots for the Microsoft 365 suite, with a focus on customer acquisition efforts
  • You will own winning the technical decision for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, through tailoring your message, bringing ideas to customers, engaging with them to show our technology differentiation, and delivering proof and secure their agreement that our solutions meet the success criteria for their decision to adopt the M365 Platform solutions
  • Prepare technical insights and key scenarios required to drive the right technical and business solution outcomes
  • Meet and exceed team-level monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for net-new acquisition targets and sales pipeline, as well as operational metrics
  • Participate in the creation and delivery of technical solutions to clients by engaging with them during the planning and solution definition phase and defining the standards of work (SoW).
  • Offer detailed technical support in the analysis of user and technical requirements, specifications development, solution design and development, propose technical solutions and provide a high-level design of technical or service solutions to meet the client’s requirements.
  • Identify opportunities and contribute subject matter expertise to the design and configuration requirements in relation to RFP / RFI and proposals of low complexity.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define the solution roadmap and milestones.
  • Work on strategic projects that enhance current solution concepts and/or the creation of new ones.
  • Work closely with the sales team to evaluate and activate new accounts.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base of solutions and services by sharing best practices and lessons learnt with clients.
  • Understand the client’s environment, business needs and provide expertise and consulting on the relevant solutions.
  • Work closely with vendors to understand their strategies for solutions and services, can articulate the roadmap, and associated impacts for clients.
