What you’ll do:    
  • Identifying and prospecting potential clients: Identify potential clients who may benefit from the IT consultancy services offered by their company. They may use various methods such as cold calling, networking, attending events, and leveraging online platforms.
  • Understanding client needs: Engage with clients to understand their specific IT challenges, pain points, and business objectives. They need to listen actively and ask relevant questions to gather information about the client's requirements.
  • Presenting IT solutions: Based on the client's needs, BDM propose suitable IT consultancy services and solutions. BDM will be responsible to create persuasive presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of their company's services and how they can address the client's challenges.
  • Building and maintaining relationships: Developing and nurturing strong relationships with clients is crucial for a sales executive. They must be responsive to client inquiries, follow up on leads, and keep clients informed about new services and offerings.
  • Negotiating and closing deals: BDM will responsible for negotiating the terms of contracts and pricing with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Their goal is to close deals successfully and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborating with the consulting team: Work closely with the IT consultancy team to ensure that the proposed solutions align with the capabilities of the company and meet the client's requirements.
  • Market research and analysis: They keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands. This knowledge helps them tailor their sales strategies and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Meeting sales targets: BDM is expected to meet sales targets set by the company. They must continuously strive to achieve and exceed these goals.
  • Reporting and documentation: Keeping detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress is essential. Provide regular reports to management on their sales performance and pipeline.
  • About you:   
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field is typically preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IT consulting industry, including current trends, technologies, and challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales and Marketing Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and marketing strategies to generate leads and close deals.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Networking: Strong networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Business Development Experience: Typically, 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field is required. Previous experience specifically in IT consulting or a similar industry is highly desirable.
  • Sales Track Record: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • CRM and Sales Tools: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
