What you'll do:     
   
Data Pipeline Development:   
  • Design, construct, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
  • Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and frameworks to automate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline process.
Data Modeling and Warehousing:   
  • Develop and optimize data models to improve data accessibility and foster data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Construct and maintain data warehouses and data lakes, utilizing Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Cosmos DB, ensuring optimal data storage and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate these into technical implementations.
Data Integration:   
  • Integrate disparate data sources into a unified system, ensuring consistency and availability of data.
  • Work with APIs, SQL, and other data delivery systems to collect and distribute data efficiently.
  • Implement best practices for data integration, data quality, and data cleansing.
Performance Tuning:   
  • Monitor data pipelines and databases for performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize data flow and storage.
  • Regularly review and refine the existing data infrastructure to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure features and technologies to continually enhance data pipeline performance.
Collaboration and Support:   
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to understand their data requirements and provide the necessary data infrastructure and support.
  • Assist in the deployment of machine learning models and analytics tools, ensuring seamless integration with data pipelines.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the data platform, resolving any data-related issues promptly.
About You:     
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Azure certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and analytics.
