We are the Big Blue Truck (BBT), a clothing and household item donation collection business that is part of Northwest Center, a non-profit organization based here in Washington that is focused on supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities. Our work contributes to the advancement of equal opportunities for children and adults with disabilities through programs of therapy, education, and work opportunity.

Our team is currently seeking a candidate to join our Customer Service Representative based in our SeaTac and Renton offices.  

This position will include working with external customers to assist them with general inquiries about Northwest Center, our mission, and donation opportunities. We are proud to deliver consistent 5-star customer service to our partners. Wage: $17.50 - $18.50/hour (DOE)

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Essential Duties

  • Operate a computer-based phone system to answer calls from offsite customers
  • Schedule customers using an internal database
  • Provide excellent customer support over the phone, in person, or via email
  • Perform general administrative duties and special projects as assigned, including data entry
  • Ability to talk in person and by phone in a clear and audible speaking voice
  • Ability to hear in person and by phone
  • Ability to work at a stationary desk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use and work with computer monitors and complete keyboarding for extended periods of time
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Flexibility to work from either our SeaTac or Renton location
