Description

Northwest Center Early Supports is hiring for a Temporary Business Manager.

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing calendars, making meeting arrangements, preparing reports, taking meeting minutes, and following up and tracking actions items for the team. Our ideal candidate will have great time management skills and a strong background in child development, mental health, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.

Ultimately, you will contribute to the quality of care we provide to the children and families Early Supports services by providing personalized and timely support to leadership team members.

Location: On-site, Seattle, WA
Schedule: 24 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 3 pm 
Wage Range: $26.73 - $40.24 per hour

This is a temporary six-month assignment.

Job Duties:
  • Coordinate and prioritize the daily schedule of team leaders, including meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Manage communication channels, including email correspondence, phone calls, and internal messaging systems, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations as needed, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
  • Conduct research and compile information on relevant topics related to compliance and operations within the structure of our Early Supports Program.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of team meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including logistics, materials, and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for improving workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records, files, and databases, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information as needed.
  • Lead communication initiatives for Kids Leadership, including drafting correspondence, managing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and organizing action items.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience as an executive assistant or other administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare or education setting,
  • Knowledge of child development principles, mental health concepts, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills include but are not limited to a positive attitude, strong listening skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
  • Prior experience navigating Data Management Systems, including Electronic Medical Records preferred.
