Position: National Director of Operations & Vendor Partnerships

Location: Remote work opportunity

Northwest Center is headquartered in the Seattle Region, but this is a remote opportunity with travel within the United States required.

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year 

Northwest Center is hiring a National Director of Operations & Vendor Partnerships to ensure the timely install, execution, and management of new facility service accounts (with a concentration on janitorial) throughout the United States. This person will take on the immediate operational requirements for sold accounts and ensure that the execution meets the contractual standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Working with legal to understand all contractual obligations of incoming janitorial and facility service accounts
  • Following up immediately on sold facility contracts by finding vendors to fulfill these jobs
  • Finding and negotiating rates with janitorial vendors and ensuring that the scope of work for contracts is well understood
  • Traveling to job sites to provide hands-on support for the execution of new contracts
  • Ensuring that the details of all of the accounts are met operationally
  • Resolving any vendor or customer issues promptly


Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 + years of operations experience in a full-service janitorial environment
  • Vendor management experience preferred
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Flexible and calm problem-solver eager to jump in and find solutions
  • Able to travel an average of two weeks out of the month to sites throughout the United States
