Wellness Observation & Response Crew (WORC) Auditor for Northwest Center Services at Amazon

The Northwest Center @ Amazon team operates in a fast-paced and demanding corporate environment where we provide professional 5-star customer service across several program divisions.
The WORC Auditor is detail-oriented and can identify a range of facilities and maintenance issues in corporate office buildings to ensure standards put in place by Facility Management are met. The WORC team provides facilities audit support, helping Facility Managers observe trends and notate when maintenance and aesthetic standards are not met. Cadenced audits capture workspace and building data and is shared with Facilities Management to resolve any discrepancies. The WORC team is also leveraged to complete special projects for the Real Estate and Facilities teams.
Schedule: Monday - Friday between 7:30AM - 6PM. Must be able to work a flexible schedule during hours of operation for weekdays and some availability over the weekend as needed.
Hourly Rate Range: $21.80 per hour | Full Range: $21.80 - $23.88
Location: Seattle (South Lake Union, Queen Anne, Sodo), Bellevue and Redmond

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Walking to various worksites to observe and answer the Global Inspection audit question around cosmetic, supply and technology issues to confirm standards are being upheld.
- Recording notes on observations when something is not in alignment to the standard.
- Work will require general knowledge of Smartsheet system tool and capability of entering information into the system.
- Provide feedback and call out when possible efficiency gains or changes that need to be made to the program.
- Communicate with Facilities Managers or other vendors when emergent issues occur.
- Assist with new tasks and/or projects as needed to support other NWC divisions and client partners.
- Work collaboratively with Amazon employees and other vendor partners, ensuring the Northwest Center team is always acting as a solutions provider to our customer and vendor partners.
- Immediately report any suspicious persons, calls and packages to Amazon Corporate Security, NWC supervisors and Amazon Global Real Estate and Facilities.
- Ability to follow structured timelines and accommodate unexpected requests.
Needed Experience/Education
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Minimum 1-year customer service, real estate/facilities, or administrative support experience
Demonstrable Skills
- Provide excellent customer service with the ability to write concise correspondence and effectively communicate verbally and electronically with all levels of management, employees, vendor partners, event organizers and visitors.
- Detail-oriented, identify and notate all instances when standards/expectations not met.
- Effective time management with the ability to quickly and successfully prioritize tasks, ensuring completion of assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Must be able to potentially lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.
- May need to carry supplies to other buildings.
- Requires travel to several Amazon buildings so the ability to walk consistently within a 1.5 radius is required.
- The position requires standing and mobility around the campus for long periods of time up to the entire length of the shift.
- Ability to work independently and out of line of sight from other team members for all or part of shift.
- Ability to work on a tablet/computer.
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to see both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses).
- Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including occasionally arriving early, staying late on a moment’s notice and occasional evening.
