Snow Removal Supervisor - On-Call

Northwest Center is seeking dedicated On-Call Snow Removal Supervisors to join our team at OneNorth IFS in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will oversee the operations of snow and ice removal staff, ensuring all services meet contracted specifications and quality standards. You will provide guidance and training to your team, maintain high service standards, and perform routine snow and ice removal tasks. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring high standards of quality while promoting a safe work environment.
This position requires flexibility in working hours, as you must be available to work during variable hours, often with short notice. During a typical shift, you will operate walk-behind snowblowers, apply de-icers, and ensure all snow is properly piled into designated areas. Reliable transportation and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work culture are essential.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in related field or similar sized projects
Shifts: On-Call, Variable hours including nights & weekends
Wages: $30 - $35 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILIITIES:
- Oversee the operations of snow and ice removal staff within a designated contract site.
- Responsible for team performance, ensuring that all procedures, processes, and policies are understood and followed.
- Operate walk-behind snowblowers and apply de-icers, both liquid and granular, to ensure safe and clear surfaces.
- Oversee and perform routine snow and ice removal tasks such as shoveling, snow blowing, liquid and granular de-icing, etc.
- Ensure all snow is properly piled into designated areas.
- Take a hands-on approach to snow and ice removal as well as specialty tasks, personally ensuring that high standards of quality meet all contract requirements.
- Promote a safe work environment by ensuring all team members adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of supervisory experience in similar-sized projects with demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with limited notice.
- Reliable transportation to and from worksite, with limited notice.
