Northwest Center is now hiring a FULL-TIME Maintenance Technician for our Downtown Facility!

Northwest Center is now looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Downtown Seattle Highrise building. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for handling building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, the fulfillment of assigned work orders, and unforeseen maintenance in a timely fashion.

Schedule: 40 hours per week  

Wage: $24.00 per hour + Excellent Benefits

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

✦  Preforming site walks to assess the safety and cleanliness of the grounds

✦  Cleaning and maintaining indoor and outdoor areas

✦  Maintaining on-site pool

✦  Basic plumbing and appliance repairs

✦  Inspect and repair on-site mechanical systems, irrigation, building exterior, fencing, etc.

✦  Handling after-hours emergencies

✦  Other duties as assigned

 

 

BACKGROUND WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

✦  1+ Years' experience in HANDS-ON facility maintenance or building trades

✦  Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office products including Outlook, or ability to learn new preventative maintenance and job scheduling programs)

✦  Working knowledge of building and mechanical systems

✦  Knowledge and experience working with a variety of power and hand tools.

✦  Basic understanding of carpentry, cabinetry, painting, and drywall

✦  Team player with the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with site personnel and supervisors in fast-paced work environments.

✦  The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

 

REQUIREMENTS:

✦  WA State Driver's license.

✦  Acceptable 5-year driving abstract.

✦  Verbal and written communication skills.

✦  Flexibility in work schedule

✦  Able to provide facilities support in the Greater Seattle Area as needed
