Experience: 3+ years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance and repair.  
Minimum Education: H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Technical Certification is a plus.
Compensation Range: $30 - $35/hour depending on experience.

Summary:
Under general supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance for facilities, labs, production areas, and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and conduct various building and equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensures work is completed in a safe manner and complies with all safety standards. 
  • Work with service suppliers and contractors for onsite services.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activity for the Facility, Equipment, Labs and Clean Rooms. 
  • Keep equipment, including machine tools, forklift, HVAC, lighting in good working conditions. 
  • Perform daily routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper operations.
  • Assist with setting up company test and production laboratories, cleanrooms and supporting equipment.
  • Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity to include basic troubleshooting.  
Required Experience / Capability:
  • Commitment to excellence.  Attention to detail.  Pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and maintain composure and good working relationships under pressure.
  • Effectively manage schedule and priorities with minimal daily direction to meet mid to long-term schedule objectives. 
  • 3+ years in a maintenance role directly supporting facilities and equipment maintenance and repair activities. 
  • Basic facilities maintenance skills in plumbing, electrical and mechanical maintenance. 
  • Experience with cleanroom setup, qualification, and continued maintenance programs.
  • Follow pre-established company policies and processes.
