Position Overview:
The Gainsight System Administrator will partner with the Business Technology team responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Gainsight platform to support the Customer Success & CS Operations team to drive overall CSM engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain the Gainsight platform, including rule creation, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
- Oversee the Gainsight support queue and assist with troubleshooting system issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions to technical problems related to Gainsight.
- Ensure seamless data flow between Gainsight and other systems such as Salesforce, People.AI, Gong, and Snowflake.
- Develop and ensure all documentation for the platform is up to date e.g. creating user guides, data dictionary, process flows.
- Build and customize dashboards, health scores, CTAs (Calls to Action), and playbooks to align with business objectives.
- Work closely with Business Technology to ensure Gainsight is aligned with CS and CS Ops operational needs and implementation requests.
- Audit and maintain data accuracy within the platform, ensuring reliable reporting and insights.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for Gainsight users, ensuring proper system permissions are maintained.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Gainsight Administrator or in a
related role (e.g., Customer Success Operations, Business Systems Administrator). - Proficiency in configuring and managing Gainsight; familiarity
with Salesforce and other CRM platforms is a plus. - Strong data analysis capabilities to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve system-related issues efficiently.
Certifications: Gainsight Administrator certification (preferred but not required).
