Position Summary: 
We are looking for exceptional people to work with our cross-functional team and join our world-class community of talented experts.  As a UI/UX Engineer you are responsible for creating seamless and engaging user interfaces and experiences for digital products. This role involves a blend of design and development, requiring expertise in user-centered design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and front-end technologies. The UI/UX Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business goals into visually appealing, functional, and accessible designs. Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is essential for ensuring that the final product delivers an exceptional user experience.  Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and curiosity are necessary to succeed in our collaborative and rewarding environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • This role is essential for enhancing user experience and user interface design within our Salesforce Health Cloud environment and other web applications. The ideal candidate will combine their expertise in web/front-end development with a strong focus on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, specifically tailored to the healthcare sector, Marketing, Sales, etc.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Web-Friendly applications, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with platform managers and business analysts to understand their requirements and incorporate feedback into UI/UX designs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
  • Customize and enhance Salesforce Health Cloud features to improve user experience and meet healthcare industry standards.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance to continuously enhance the user experience.
  • Develop user personas, user journeys, and other UX artifacts to guide design decisions. 
  • Utilize design tools such as Figma to create high-fidelity design assets
  • Build and maintain web applications using Angular, React, and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Implement responsive and accessible UI designs that provide a consistent experience across different devices and platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design, web development, and Salesforce technologies.
  • Ensure all design solutions align with business goals and user needs while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Debug and troubleshoot UI issues across different browsers and devices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding UI/UX best practices and implementation strategies.
 
 
Experience and Required Qualifications:
  • Education:  BA/ degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in UI/UX design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.   
  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular and React.
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and other Salesforce products is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with the ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles, ensuring that designs work effectively across a variety of devices and platforms
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and the ability to implement accessible design solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex UI issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics and design quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in debugging with modern IDEs, preferably Visual Studio.
  • Experienced in working in a team setting with modern source control management (SCM) systems, preferably Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Experience deploying through CI/CD release pipelines platforms, preferably Azure DevOps
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Occasional travel may be required to our remote offices.
