NeoGenomics is looking for a Senior Advisor, Tax who wants to continue to learn to allow our company to grow. This is a hybrid role to work our of our Carlsbad, CA offices.

Position Summary:
As the Program Manager, Tax, you will play a key role in overseeing the organization’s tax accounting, compliance, and reporting processes. This team member will also manage the organization’s relations with external providers and consultants on various tax accounting and compliance matters.
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal accounting, finance, and other departments among multiple levels of the organization to gather financial data and work efficiently with outside auditors and advisors with regards to income tax compliance and reporting
- Prepare income tax workpaper support for compliance and financial statement reporting
- Prepare Federal and State income tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated payments
- Maintain broad exposure and knowledge of ASC 740 income tax provisions.
- Preparing tax provision schedules (Rate Rec, Current tax, Deferred tax, Valuation Allowance, etc.)
- Calculating uncertain tax positions (FIN 48)
- Reviewing stock-based equity compensation
- Reviewing tax disclosures in SEC filings
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Master’s in Taxation preferred
- 6+ years of experience (5 years in public accounting +1 year or Industry experience)
- CPA Certification Preferred
- Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in U.S. GAAP
- General knowledge of international tax; Form 5471, GILTI, FDII, BEAT and transfer pricing is a plus
- Expertise with Excel formulas and pivot tables (Power Query and VBA a plus)
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP, HFM preferred
- Knowledge of Go Systems RS/One Source
- Ability to interpret legal documents

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $107,200 to $184,920 Annually, Plus Bonus
In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
