Position Summary:

The Solid Tumor Product Manager is accountable for overseeing all solid tumor modality workstreams (except liquid biopsy and minimal residual disease) at NeoGenomics by working cross-functionally with all areas of the company to ensure effective life cycle management and best in class product launches. They will have personal responsibility to manage both the core solid tumor products by making updates to the existing portfolio to stay competitive/profitable in the market as well as handle new solid tumor launches for both the clinical and pharma divisions at NeoGenomics. They will help maintain existing business, grow new business, monitor business levels and help develop marketing messages/content. The Solid Tumor Product Manager will collaborate and work cross functionally with all areas of the company (marketing, R&D, bioinformatics, data analytics, regulatory, reimbursement and finance) to accomplish their tasks. They will serve as the solid tumor product experts. This is a role requiring knowledge of laboratory testing and/or cancer biology, positive leadership and objective thought.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead solid tumor product life-cycle management, including the prioritization of new product launches and enhancements
  • Collaborate with marketing on product positioning and message development through voice of customer, competitive intel and market data and trends for oncology, pathology and pharma
  • Serve as the technical product experts for the internal clinical and pharma sales team
  • Actively present at bi-yearly sales training meetings as well as virtual All Sales Calls, as needed
  • Attend seminars, industry conferences and tradeshows to support customer engagement and insight generation for pathology, oncology and pharma clients
  • Drive the creation and delivery of product sales training materials
  • Implement tracking reports for new product launches for at least 12 months to assure launch success
  • Develop and implement sales enablement tools and tactics to drive new and incremental growth
  • Work closely with project management team to drive commercial subgroups/projects where appropriate
  • Help compile business cases for various products and product improvements
  • Work productively and efficiently to achieve individual, department and company goals and communicate effectively with all staff levels
  • Remove roadblocks through objective discussion and lateral thinking
  • Adhere to NeoGenomics Laboratories core values, safety, compliance, and Company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Product Management leadership

 

Experience and Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience required
  • Laboratory or clinical diagnostics experience
  • Experience in the use and application of NGS, IHC, FISH technologies in the oncology and pathology and/or pharma field is highly desirable
  • Must understand the difference in product positioning for oncology, pathology and pharma clients
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional manner
  • Proven experience with and knowledge of LDT/IVD (FDA), IVDD, IVDR (CE Mark), CMS reimbursement (eg. MolDX, NYS) and other relevant regulations is a benefit
  • Scientific and technical experience in the field of oncology and/or pathology (pharma is a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the development and use of molecular diagnostics for oncology and pathology
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of biomarkers and guidelines
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Ability to organize and deliver on complex objectives in cross-functional internal and external teams with an emphasis on resourcefulness, innovative thinking, and effective leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Proficient with MS Office programs
  • Flexibility towards work assignments, new learning and travel to off-site meetings, tradeshows, customer meetings etc

 

Travel:  10-20% Overnight travel may be required.

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $116,000 - $200,100
