Position Summary:
The Program Manager, LIMS leads enterprise-wide LIMS programs that support clinical and
laboratory operations, with primary ownership of Neo LIMS initiatives. This role provides
strategic and execution leadership across multiple concurrent LIMS programs, manages Program
and Project Managers, and ensures the successful delivery of complex, regulated technology
initiatives aligned with business and compliance priorities.
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Owns the success of enterprise LIMS programs and their impact on business strategy and regulatory compliance
  • Leads cross-functional planning and execution across laboratory operations, IT, compliance, and vendors
  • Establishes program governance, manages risks and dependencies, and provides accurate executive-level reporting
  • Leads full lifecycle LIMS initiatives including requirements, configuration, validation, integration, training, go-live, and stabilization
  • Serves as primary program owner for Sapio Sciences LIMS while maintaining familiarity with other LIMS platforms
  • Ensures all activities comply with CLIA, CAP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
  • Provides people leadership for Program and Project Managers including coaching, prioritization, and performance management
  • Acts as a key liaison between laboratory leadership, IT, compliance, and external partners
  • Oversees program budgets, vendor performance, and resource planning
    Experience, Education and Qualifications:
     
    • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience required 
    • PMP or equivalent program management certification preferred
    • 5 or more years of progressive program and project management experience in laboratory, diagnostics, or regulated healthcare environments, including enterprise-scale LIMS implementations with 2 or more years of management experience required
    • Strong working knowledge of LIMS platforms with Sapio Sciences experience strongly referred
    • Familiarity with multiple LIMS ecosystems and integration patterns
    • Understanding of CLIA, CAP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
    • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs
    • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
    • Strategic, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
    Travel: Up to 25%

    Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $150,000 - $183,000

    In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
