Position Summary:
 
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the close and consolidation process across our global entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle patch and report validation, statutory closing processes, and the ability to run month-end closes from start to finish. The Senior Accountant will also play a critical role in supporting Oracle upgrades, system issue resolution, and driving process improvements. The Senior Accountant maintains and manages the GL team’s risk control matrix and process flowcharts. This position works directly with our external and internal auditors providing SOX 404 documentation and support in a timely manner.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage and oversee the statutory and tax books and consolidation process for global entities
  • Ensure all tasks are completed on time, and the close is accurate and efficient from start to finish
  • Find efficiencies within the close process to decrease the time it takes to close
  • Perform year-end, quarter-end, month-end closing processes, ensuring all financial reporting requirements are met, send out daily/monthly close communication
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with the systems team
  • Provide support during Oracle software implementations and system upgrades
  • Oversee the Report Validation Process, ensuring that all reporting is accurate and aligned with accounting standards
  • Collaborate with the systems team to track and review Oracle ticket issues, ensuring open tickets are resolved promptly
  • Validate Oracle upgrades and system changes to ensure they are functioning correctly and align with accounting needs
 
Position Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Required
  • 2 years of public accounting experience OR 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Pursuing CPA is a plus
  • Oracle ERP system experience preferred
  • Blackline Software experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance
  • Expertise in Oracle Patch Validation, system upgrades, and GL support
  • Proven oral, written, and presentation skills

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $41.00 to $70.00 Per Hour
