NeoGenomics has an opening for a Business Continuity Specialist who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is an onsite position with a Monday – Friday day shift.

Position Summary:
 
AS a Business Continuity Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Company can maintain essential functions during and after disruptive events such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or other emergencies. You will also assist in the development of plans, policies and procedures in order to help the organization prepare for and respond to disruptions, ensuring that they can maintain essential functions and recover quickly from emergencies. This role has domestic and international responsibilities.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Identify potential threats to the organization's operations, including natural disasters, cyber threats, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes
  • Conduct business impact assessments to determine the potential impact of various disruptive events on critical business functions, processes, and resources
  • Collaborate with different departments to develop and document business continuity and disaster recovery plans which outline procedures for responding to emergencies and ensuring the continuity of operations
  • Participate and collaborate in the conduct of regular testing and simulation exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of continuity plans and identify areas for improvement
Experience & Required Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years’ experience in dedicated risk management role required
  • 1 year experience in international operations risk management preferred
  • 1 year experience in international crisis management and communication preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office programs
  • In depth knowledge with IT systems and redundancies preferred
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Disaster Recovery Professional Certification preferred
  • Lean Sigma Black Belt will be strongly preferred

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $68,580.00 to $118,300.50 (CA) Annually Plus Bonus
