Position Summary: 

The Director, BioPharma Data Sales & Business Development will be responsible for achieving new bookings and meeting revenue targets through strategic biopharma accounts and relationships. This is an individual contributor role but will work closely with the whole informatics team to contribute towards divisional goals. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in the life science partner’s approved therapies, pipeline and portfolio to proactively identify all opportunities to support with biomarker driven real world data projects
  • Possess and develop strategic relationships with existing and current partners
  • Act as a voice of the customer to continually contribute ideas and feedback
  • Aggressively prospect both virtually, and in person at tradeshows
  • Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, emerging policy developments and client priorities
  • Proven ability to navigate complex pharma organizations with repeatable success managing entire sales process – lead gen through opportunity to proposal and selection 
  • Develop strategic account plans, working closely with the sales development team to prospect, pre-call plan and execute
  • Team-oriented, problem-solving mindset that is willing to support the team, and deliver enterprise goals through collaboration
  • Ability to clearly articulate issues and opportunities and identify the right internal and external stakeholders to solve

 

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience delivering products, data, or analyses to Pharma/Life science companies (RWD/RWE)
  • Proven success navigating and closing business with pharma leading to top sales performance of consistently meeting and/or exceeding quotas
  • Strong clinical background in oncology and/or pathology 
  • Travel: 20% field sales, regional and national conferences. Quarterly in person strategic meetings with team

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $150,181 - $259,063

In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
