Position Summary:
The Senior Director, MRD/Liquid will work in close collaboration with the R&D and Strategic Marketing, IT and Operations and sales teams to ensure effective life cycle management including introducing and launching new LBx products, optimizing existing and discontinuing obsolete products. This position plays a pivotal role in executing the MRD/Liquid product strategy and contributes significantly to defining the company’s strategic product roadmap for all NeoGenomics’ MRD/Liquid product offerings, aligning it with key market needs to foster the long-term growth of the company. This role serves as a MRD/Liquid product expert in support of the enterprise-wide business, serving both external and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Align with the cross-functional team in executing the MRD/Liquid product strategy and own the product roadmap for all NeoGenomics’ MRD/Liquid product offerings.
- Analyze, understand and actively assess the market analysis of each MRD/Liquid product: segmentation, dynamics, research and clinical trends, and regulatory landscape. Actively monitor industry trends to understand the competitive environment and anticipate MRD/Liquid testing market shifts and customer demands.
- Develop and manage business cases for new opportunities and drive the Product Lifecycle Process (PLP) for new MRD/Liquid products. Includes creation of strategic plans, MRD/Liquid product definitions, market segmentation, collection of voice of the customer, MRD/Liquid product requirements, and market analysis.
- Understand the payer landscape for the MRD/Liquid portfolio and ensure positioning to maximize revenue and reimbursement potential
- Continually assess the MRD/Liquid product portfolio and implement viability and life cycle initiatives to increase revenue and profitability
- Lead successful MRD/Liquid product relationships with key customers to ensure an understanding of emerging trends and key drivers for successful adoption of new MRD/Liquid products and/or expansion of the value proposition of existing MRD/Liquid testing.
- Build strong internal and external relationships in support of the enterprise-wide strategy.
- Collaboration with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical Affairs, KOLs, and Business Development teams to gain regional market feedback and incorporate considerations in MRD/Liquid product portfolio decisions and go to market priorities.
- Lead go to market MRD/Liquid product plans in collaboration with Commercial organizations (especially tactical marketing and training) to achieve revenue goals, ensure successful customer adoption and accelerate ramp to volume.
- Review, understand, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Lead and will participate in cross-functional teams or projects; shares expertise through mentoring/coaching of others.
- Serves on other work groups or committees as asked.
- Other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Enterprise Product Management.
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related scientific field; PhD degree in related fields preferred
- 10+ years of progressive product management experience in laboratory, pharma, or life science fields; deep understanding of MRD/Liquid product management, marketing, sales and business development, and product and service management.
- 5 years of experience in Oncology, Diagnostics, or Medical device. Experience in MRD/Liquid testing is greatly preferred
- Previous experience in LBx and MRD product management or strategic marketing.
- Strong understanding of MRD/Liquid testing services and the evolving competitive landscape.
- Strong track record of success in bringing innovative MRD/Liquid products to market.
- Previous experience with MRD/Liquid product management in global markets in both Clinical and Pharma settings.
- Ability to build business cases with quantitative market analytics, revenue, NPV, and profitability projections.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with proven success and track record in delivering top-line results.
- Demonstrated ability to identify potential risks and/or obstacles, and opportunities and then to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
- Proven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
- Proficient with MS Office programs.
- Keen ability, to and desire to anticipate, recognize and meet others’ needs to achieve common goals.
- Must be able to work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $220,238 - $379,910
In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
