Position Summary: 
The Legal Contracts Manager is responsible for administering a range of legal agreements and supporting the contract lifecycle through drafting, reviewing, and signing, while ensuring alignment with company policies and guidelines. In partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, the position supports efficient contracting workflows, issue resolution, and timely execution of agreements. Key contributions include maintaining contract templates, overseeing contract tracking, and communicating deadlines. The role also contributes to process improvements and may assist with legal research and other Legal Department initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates proficiency in all Core Responsibilities of a Legal Contracts Manager and maintains ongoing knowledge of all core functions.
• Prepares legal contracts and related legal documents under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Legal Contracting & Administration and final review by the Assistant General Counsel.
• Supports process improvements within the Legal Department to improve the timeliness and quality of legal services.
• Works cross-functionally with other departments to resolve problems and facilitate the efficient provision of legal services by the Legal Department.
• Follows all applicable company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Revises legal contract templates to ensure consistency with Legal Department contracting guidelines and company policies & procedures.
• Maintains day-to-day inventory and tracking of legal contracts and monitors deadlines of pending agreements to ensure timely and complete execution.
• Maintains a contract database and filing system for all agreements and legal documents.
• Communicates with members of the sales team to facilitate necessary documentation is provided to clients, as needed.
• Reviews contracts and drafts executive summaries highlighting key terms for executive stakeholders.
• Conducts legal research on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the company.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Legal Contracts & Administration and/or the Assistant General Counsel.
 
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies or similar discipline preferred.
• 3 + years of experience as a paralegal and/or legal contracts manager.
• Experience in the following are highly preferred: Drafting agreements, Reviewing agreements, Edits/Redlining, contract lifecycle management.
• Highly preferred if you have worked in an in-house legal office setting.
• Experience in healthcare law strongly preferred.
• Strong computer and internet research skills.
• Proficient in all MS Office programs, with superior knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-directed, and well-organized with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion, sensitivity, and professionalism at all times.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Some travel required to subsidiary laboratory locations, 10% of the time.

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $65,000-$76,000 + annual bonus

In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
