Summary:
The Project Data Administrator I works under general supervision to support Pharma Services projects with a focus on study data entry, QC, and associated documentation. You will support internal teams, data entry and QC activities for many projects at a time.
This is the entry role in the Project Data Administrator job category. In this position, you will handle data and perform related tasks from a full range of projects including Molecular, IHC, Flow Cytometry, MultiOmyx, FISH, and Cytogenetics.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare data transfer file and perform data entry when required
• Perform Data QC activities and record associated evidence
• Perform Data Updates
• Ensure data quality certificate is completed & filed
• Coordinate with multiple Project Managers, QA, and other functions as needed to complete data entry / QC / Data Updates / QA / activities
• Perform 100% data QC on demographics and results in the data transfer file
• Verify Data Transfer File against Data Transfer Specification / Data Transfer Agreement for each data transfer
• Complete projects within established timelines with required quality.
• Create tickets for amending reports / updating LIMS when there is a data discrepancy identified during the QC process
Experience:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred; High School Diploma is required• One or more years performing data entry, reviewing data entered by others, and experience in medical billing, accounting, & finance would be useful
• Accurate fast data entry via typing
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word
• Possesses appropriate computer skills to accomplish tasks
• Enthusiastic, organized, detail oriented and thorough
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work in a biohazard environment and follow safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Motivated to work independently and within a team environment
