The Catering Associate/Cook is responsible for providing, setting up, cleaning up, transporting, and Cooking 3 days with Sous Chef, preparing food for clients while ensuring food safety and hygienic procedures are always followed.  

 

Full-Time Position
Schedule: 1st Shift (6:30 am – 3 pm shift hours) 2nd Shift (11:00 am – 7 pm) and every other weekend required.  The catering schedule may vary based on catering needs. 
 
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is preferred.
Certification & Licensure
Valid Drivers Liscence
Experience
  • 1 year experience in food service, customer service and/or customer facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Job Duties
The Catering Associate/Cook- Cooks, serves, delivers, sets up and breaks down meals and catering functions to clients, while ensuring food safety and hygienic procedures are always followed. The catering associate also prepares meals, snacks and beverages following specific food handling procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  •  Preparation, Cooking, serving, and delivery of food to the clients and clinics.
  • Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
  • Daily stocking and cleaning of doctor lounges.
  • Setting up and taking down equipment at special events and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
  • Preparing Grab and Go for Retail and assisting with cooking food, while preserving its temperature.
  • Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
