- Support the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts in line with internal policies and controls.
- Assist with internal and external financial reporting requirements.
- Support the preparation, monitoring, and delivery of the site budget.
- Provide timely and meaningful financial analysis to support plant performance.
- Partner with operational managers to understand cost drivers and performance trends.
- Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- Maintain accurate costing of products, inventory, and overheads.
- Support inventory control processes, reconciliations, and physical stock counts.
- Assist with asset accounting and related controls.
- Contribute to forecasting and planning cycles.
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journals for month-end close.
- Review and analyse expense accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a finance business partner to operational teams.
- Promote a customer-focused, service-driven finance function.
- Build strong working relationships across the site.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance and operations.
- Champion company values and contribute to a high-performance culture.
- Promote safe working practices within the finance function.
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing or operational finance environment (desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus
- Key role within a high-performing site finance team
- Strong exposure to operational decision-making
