About This Role
As the Director of Marketing, you will be at the forefront in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to define and elevate our brand identity and shaping our customer experience. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving growth through innovative, data-driven approaches that align with our core brand. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, self-starter, agile, and possesses both analytical and creative skills with the ability to work independently and cross functionally within the organization. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including strategic planning, building both internal and external partnerships, and developing your team.
 
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy that aligns with the company’s overarching business goals. Identify market opportunities and establish a strategic direction to sustain and enhance brand growth
  • Direct the development and ongoing maintenance of the brand identity, ensuring uniformity across all platforms and communication channels. Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives
  • Owns the team’s performance and progression toward business objectives. Sets and oversees metrics to ensure team accountability. Provides leadership, motivation, and guidance to direct reports
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and advancements, ensuring our marketing strategies and initiatives are proactive and aligned with current market dynamics
  • Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies, leveraging employee insights and feedback to drive engagement and ensure alignment with the company’s vision, values, and business objectives
  • Establishes deep knowledge in consumer behavior, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to drive continuous improvement in brand performance
  • Utilize data and market insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement in brand performance
  • Support home sales efforts by analyzing market trends, buyer preferences, and competitive data to assist with sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and enhance overall sales performance
  • Collaborate on customer experience initiatives by analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and service data to develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and align with the company’s overall business objectives
  • Present data, marketing trends, campaign results, and consumer insights to executive management, facilitating strategic decision-making and alignment with the company’s overall business goals. 
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding brand and measuring clear and effective communication for brand messaging.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across all marketing channel to maximize ROI
  • Develop and manage marketing collateral to support home sales and event collateral
  • Research, negotiates, and manages tasks, programs, and budgets for third-party consultants and service providers
  • Oversee and coordinate corporate communications strategies to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and align with the company's strategic goals and vision
  • Develop and maintains positive relationship with stakeholders, including owners, managers, subcontractors, designers, team members, and field staff
  • Participates in all employee lifecycle activities including interviewing, onboarding, training, mentoring, conducting weekly 1-on-1’s, just-in-time coaching, disciplinary actions, performing regular performance reviews, and offboarding
  • Uphold the highest standard of ethical marketing, ensuring all campaigns and strategies align with industry regulations and maintains integrity and honesty in communication and promotions
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • 10+ years of brand strategy/marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, advertising or related field required
  • Proven experience building brands and results-oriented marketing plans. Familiarity with brand fundamentals (identity, positioning, strategy, target audience).
  • A strong track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and programs -work prioritization, planning, and coordinating across teams

Hours & Compensation  
This is a full-time position paying $140,500 – $224,920 + discretionary bonuses. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
