Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.    

Position Summary:

The Distribution Operator works proactively to manage assigned Distribution accounts by developing relationships, actively participating in customer meetings, ensuring support to Distribution Partners and supports the company efforts to maximize and develop each account to its fullest business potential.

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year

Job Function:

  • Process and execute all customer requests including but not limited to orders and quotes in accordance with department procedures
  • Maintain customer accounts and database with current customer requirements
  • Manage and maintain forecasts for Distribution Partners; work with Production Control, Material Planning and Management to support on-time delivery
  • Manage POS data in the Mini-Circuits system, to include but not limited to, review of reports, accounts linked, new customer creation
  • Monitor Product Change Notices and pricing changes and notify each Channel Partner, taking any actions resulting from the PCN or pricing change.
  • Report any constraints to daily tasks to the manager for improvement or resolution
  • Review all RMAs for prompt response; implement preventative actions and closure to customer satisfaction. 
  • Gather and compile pricing data, product information, and lead times, for management review monthly for new parts to add to Distribution.
  • Review/Process annual quote agreements
  • Review contracts and customer requests, terms and conditions, and QA clauses with internal members, legal team and senior management as applicable. 
  • Provide general customer service support (i.e. respond to questions, requests for pricing, expedites, late order follow-up, etc).

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer service, order management, or distribution support. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).            
  • Experience with ERP/CRM related software.
  • Comfortable with data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Ability to learn and test new or updated software tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-orientated.
