Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications.  With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
 
Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
 
Position Summary:
The Compensation Manager manages the groups compensation programs and ensures they are aligned to the market and support the company’s talent strategy. This is a results-oriented individual contributor (process manager) who has demonstrated relationship management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to adapt to satisfy the changing needs of the business, while actively collaborating with members of the HR Leadership Team, organizational stakeholders and support resources. The key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate in a complex, fast-moving environment and will require a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
 
The ideal candidate can contribute to the design, manage and implement broad based and executive compensation, the organizations incentive program(s), and job architecture plans to ensure Mini-Circuits is competitive in the marketplace.
 
The role requires exceptional communication skills with the ability to leverage internal and external networks in a fast pace, growing organization.
 
Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year
 
Job Function:
  • Provide proactive compensation support on a variety of matters including but not limited to executive offers and leveling, organization restructurings, YE and year-round compensation planning and specialized Total Rewards (TR) projects.
  • In partnership with business leaders and HR, manage and deploy total reward solutions that are linked to Mini-Circuits overall business strategy.
  • Benchmark sales incentives and manage the continuous oversight and management of the company’s sales compensation plans.
  • Provide proactive & strategic business support understanding key business challenges and opportunities and proactively providing Total Rewards solutions to better enable businesses to achieve their growth objectives.
  • Utilize data, analytics, and internal / external insights to develop total rewards solutions that help drive business results.
  • Manage the annual merit process in partnership with leadership
  • Collaborate with the SVP and Director of Human Resources on any execution of programs to ensure the appropriate audience
  • Support Talent Acquisition and Operations by providing compensation analyses for new hires and job changes
  • As part of the internal customer service & member experience initiatives, partner with leaders as appropriate to review equity and/or pay disparity issues, make recommendations on strategies to correct them.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or similar field of study.
  • Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credentials highly preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in compensation, including designing, managing, and implementing compensation plans and programs.
  • 2-3+ years experience in executive compensation, including designing, managing, and implementing compensation plans and programs.
  • Strong business acumen; an understanding of key global business trends (e.g., organizational functions, regulatory, legal, economic conditions).
  • Experience working with matrixed organizations.
  • Strategic and systematic thinking, collaboration, stakeholder management, project leadership, change management and communications skills.
  • Working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in supporting hourly compensation, exempt compensation, and incentive compensation.
  • Experience working in large, complex, dynamic organizations with multiple business groups and broad geographic reach and the ability and tolerance to work in an ambiguous environment. 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are required as this role will interact with senior leaders and corporate executives.
  • Experience partnering with internal resources to successfully deliver to the scope, schedule and cost while also partnering with external consulting teams to ensure milestones are met, knowledge transfer is in place, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting change management and improving processes.
  • Leadership ability with superior analytical tools, exceptional presentation, oral and written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Strategic, analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to engage others as necessary to quickly synthesize.
  • Passionate, self-starter with the highest level of integrity and ethics along with demonstrated initiative, planning, team building and problem-solving skills.
  • Possesses the ability to proactively communicate & collaborate with different levels and functions in the organization as well the ability to communicate appropriate and useful information to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, team members and vendors.
