Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales, and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement, and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance, and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea, and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
Mini-Circuits sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, and sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
The Real Estate / Facilities Manager / Director develops and executes Mini-Circuits' real estate / facilities global strategy, overseeing the company's real estate portfolio, corporate real estate objectives, and capital projects to support business growth, operational excellence, and long-term capacity planning. Reporting directly to the VP Fulfillment & Global Operations and supporting cross-functional partners, this role drives strategic initiatives that optimize facility performance, enhance operational efficiency, and align the company’s real estate portfolio to its business objectives.
Salary Ranges:
Manager Level
FL: $120,000 – $140,000
NY: $135,000 – $160,000
Director Level
FL: $190,000 – $220,000
NY: $220,000 – $240,000
Job Function:
- Develop and execute real estate / facilities strategies that align with business objectives and long-term capacity planning.
- Manage the real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, leases, renewals, dispositions, space planning, site selection, due diligence, and facility master planning.
- Direct the operation and maintenance of all facilities, leading facilities personnel across multiple locations to ensure buildings, infrastructure, and critical systems are maintained safely, reliably, efficiently, and in compliance local regulatory ordinances and company standards.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, standardized maintenance processes, work order management practices, and performance metrics to maximize asset reliability, minimize downtime, and drive operational consistency across all facilities.
- Prioritize maintenance activities and allocate internal and external resources to support business operations, balancing routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, energy performance, workplace experience, and overall cost effectiveness.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, prepare financial analyses and business cases, and provide strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Lead multiple capital improvement projects, renovations, expansions, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades, developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.
- Manage relationships with landlords, brokers, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and service providers, including contract negotiations, vendor selection, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, environmental standards, OSHA regulations, fire and life safety requirements, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain business continuity, emergency preparedness, and facility resiliency programs to minimize operational risk.
- Establish facilities policies, standards, and best practices to drive consistency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Lead facilities personnel across multiple locations, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while directing cross-functional teams and external partners in the execution of strategic facilities and real estate initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise Facilities Coordinators, Facilities Engineers, Maintenance personnel, and administrative support staff.
Conduct hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, employee development, and succession planning for assigned team members.
Provide oversight and direction to external consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, construction managers, brokers, and facility service providers to ensure quality, performance, and successful project execution.
Manage staffing, workload distribution, and resource planning to ensure effective support of global facilities operations and business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Real Estate, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, construction management, or capital project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing facilities operations across multiple domestic and/or global locations.
- Proven experience leading commercial construction, renovation, infrastructure, and capital improvement projects.
- Experience managing corporate real estate portfolios, including commercial lease negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions, and space planning.
- Strong financial acumen, including operating and capital budget management, financial analysis, business case development, and executive reporting.
- Knowledge of strategic facilities planning, workplace optimization, and long-term capacity planning.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or highly regulated operating environments.
- Expertise in vendor, contractor, and consultant management, including contract negotiation and performance management.
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes, OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, fire and life safety standards, and risk management practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and enterprise applications such as SAP, CMMS, or comparable facilities management systems.
- Preferences – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities that are not required but are preferred
- Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
- Experience managing facilities and real estate portfolios; global experience preferred.
- Experience supporting high-tech manufacturing or electronics manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives, energy management, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) programs.
- Knowledge of NFPA, International Building Code (IBC), ADA requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Experience implementing workplace modernization and smart building technologies.
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), or Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS).
