Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications.  With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.

Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.    
 
Salary Range: $70,000-85,000  per year 
 
Position Summary: 
The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining computer systems and other technologies within the company. The position provides support to the organization by configuring computers, installing hardware and software, updating protection devices and trouble-shooting technical issues across user systems. The position is also responsible for installing and maintaining other IT equipment at the Hialeah office such as network switches, phones, printers, and other equipment used in production ensuring its smooth operation. 
 
Job Function: 
  • Respond to and address all IT-related queries via chat, email, phone or in-person.
  • Provide support and training to users and other staff members to independently troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
  • Provide technical assistance for all IT-related questions and problems related to computer systems, software, and hardware, including follow-up with end-users to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, including computer peripherals & network equipment for users.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems and clean up computers as required.

Qualifications: 
  • Associate’s degree in software engineering or other IT related field
  • IT Support and Active Directory certifications a plus
  • Knowledge of computers and peripherals
  • Active Directory user administration
  • Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems
  • Intune – machine deployment and patch management
  • Microsoft Office suite including Teams and OneDrive
  • Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Strong customer focus and emphasis on Customer Service
Preferred:
  • Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Office 365 administration
  • Support ticketing system administration (i.e. SolarWinds, JIRA, ServiceNow)
  • Experience with Azure preferred
  • Implementation of security policies
  • Experience with managing and configuring printers

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus and use a microscope.
