Position Summary:

The L1 Test Operator performs electrical tests (Production runs or Qualification runs) for all types of electrical parameters as assigned by the supervisor, team leaders and or manager.

Job Function:
  • Prepare test setup and perform testing using production test programs as per documented procedure.
  • Verify workstation is ESD safe before performing any work assignment.
  • Properly segregate all nonconforming products as per documented procedure.
  • Document all completed production run per D2-MT01.
  • To complete failure report if applicable.
  • Save all required test data to the network.
  • Return test fixtures to designated hold area keep all unused accessories in their proper holding bins.
  • To report any discrepancies found in any test documents in use.
  • Check equipment calibration.
  • Verify revision status of document used at Universal viewer.
  • To use database to review documents at Docsys.
  • Use AS400 to clock in/clock off/move in/move out.
  • To identify potential problems and notify team leader/supervisor/manager as necessary and recommend and/or provide solutions (if known) to test related problems.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with vocational background, two years of technical school (TCI) or an Engineering degree.
  • 6 months experience in test or related experience.
  • Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English.
  • Ability to distinguish colors in accordance with ISHIRA test for color blindness.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
