Role Summary  

MetaPhase is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of seven (7+) years of overall IT experience to be a part of a Federal IT team supporting our clients to transform their business and solve complex problems leveraging ServiceNow (SN). You will be stepping into a growing team where you can leverage your experience in SN to deliver on existing engagements and to play a role in standing up our corporate SN Service Line.   

As a technical team member, you will establish yourself as an SN platform specialist and liaison among clients, technical resources, and project stakeholders. The SN Developer will work on projects from a development and architecture perspective through design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting/problem solving.  

The SN Developer will be working with a project team to understand our client’s business objectives and translate client needs into specific technical requirements, and defining a SN solution to meet those requirements. You will be collaborating with team members to develop and implement requirements through SN - helping with SN architectural decisions, technical standards, matching solutions to business problems and helping our clients get the most from their SN investment.  

What You Will Be Doing   

• Attend management-level and stakeholder meetings to obtain business and technical requirements, offer solutions, and serve as a technical advisor on SN tool capabilities 
• Contribute to technical team discussions around ServiceNow solution design, and architecture on larger development efforts such as integrations or new module implementations or customizations 
• Ensure adherence to development guidelines as it relates to security, performance, re-usability, scalability and stability, code reviews, API usage 
• Collaborate with teams and clients to develop and maintain a technical roadmap for the ServiceNow platform that aligns with customer transformation objectives and balances technical and business needs 
• Collaborate on technical aspects of ServiceNow implementations projects and provide technical support in ServiceNow tool configuration and custom development - Design, Development and Implementation of ServiceNow customization including, but not limited to: core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third party software integrations 
• Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process diagrams supporting and communicating changes to ServiceNow platform applications 
• Support business capture efforts and proposals/responses, marketing materials, case studies, and participating in presentations and/or challenges 

What We Need From You (Required)   

• 7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer 
• 5+ year working in ServiceNow 
• Experience working Cloud Platform solutions integrating with other Cloud Applications and Data Sources 
• Comparable written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to contribute to technical decision making 

Bonus Points (Desired)  

• Hold ServiceNow certifications including Certified System Administrator 
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC both Agile and Waterfall 

Work Location  

TBD - Mix of remote and Contractor site (DC Metro Area). Remote work until further notice
