Role Summary
MetaPhase is seeking a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to provide strategic communications and stakeholder engagement expertise to program and project staff; provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for strategic partnership engagement, and/or facilitate working groups to advance issues, approaches and best practices of stakeholders. The Project Manager is expected to provide hands-on leadership of a team of consultants, analysts and subject matter experts to design, draft, present, and implement recommendations to DHS Agency leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
- Formulate strategies to proactively engage with and manage mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders from various industries, public-private partnerships, and State, Local and Tribal Territorial (SLTT) communities
- Lead the interface with clients, including executives, to present program analyses and reporting and status updates and to capture information
- Manage all daily operations of the project, including oversight of team members, communications with the client, and contract financial management
- Design and maintain the project plan, alignment of resources, management of deliverable deadlines, and contract management to maintain cost control, schedule, and quality of all services and products.
- Provide clients with strategic advice and recommendations for improvements
- Proactively engage with others to identify challenges, recommend solutions, create value, integrate diverse perspectives, and manage expectations
- Translate complex concepts and solutions into deliverables ranging from standard operating procedures, project management plans, and other guidance documents to PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, and other communication materials
- Apply strong communication skills to build relationships, connect people, and support team members
What We Need From You (Required)
- Minimum of ten (10) + years of combined, experience in Project Management within the federal contracting environment
- Strategic communications or stakeholder engagement experience
- Federal consulting experience at DHS - Department of Homeland Security; preferably working with senior level executives
- U.S. Citizenship required - NO EXCEPTIONS
Bonus Points (Desired)
- Extensive knowledge supporting the development of large scale projects and deliverables to present to clients
- Knowledge developing and maintaining client relationships -- adjust requirements and timelines as necessary
- Possess excellent strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management related certification
Work Location
Arlington, VA
Travel
This role requires 10% - 20% travel across DHS client offices
Education Level
Minimum Masters degree required in a relevant field (e.g., public policy, communications or public affairs, business, administration etc.)
Clearance Level
This position requires US Citizenship and a current Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI Eligibility .
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 150-165K.
