Position Summary
An Account Executive is responsible for the development of new equipment leasing customers. This role requires thoughtful strategy, disciplined prospecting efforts, rapport building skills, and an ability to uncover and close business opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create a go to market strategy to guide prospecting efforts;
  • Prospect for & close new business within a defined geography;
  • Develop relationships with potential lessees and equipment vendors;
  • Provide bi-weekly sales updates to management;
  • Populate the CRM ( with prospecting and meeting notes;
  • Create and deliver lease proposals to clients;
  • Acquire all necessary client information for credit analysis;
  • Understand the Master Lease Agreement and associated lease documentation;
  • Successful relationship transfers to Meridian “Account Manager” following the commencement of the first lease with a new client;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2 or more years of successful sales experience;
  • A dedicated and hard worker who is motived by winning;
  • Assertive, outgoing, and excellent communication skills;
  • An open-minded team player who is open to others’ ideas;
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
