Position Summary

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various professional and management roles.  This position will collaborate with Business Unit hiring managers to understand candidate needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Additionally, this role will assist in the onboarding process, new hire recordkeeping, and other tactical day-to-day HR work. The ideal person for this position must feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels, including Executive Management. 

This is an in-office position and will require working from the Deerfield, Illinois office 100% of the time.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages full cycle recruitment processes. Works with hiring managers to review, edit, approve, post open requisitions, and develop recruiting strategies. Sources candidates, conducts initial phone screens, completes in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate fit, and coordinates selection, negotiation and close;
  • Coordinates onboarding processes for employees. Insures all appropriate pre- and post-employment processes are completed, including administering all required paperwork, initiating background check process, delivering onboarding presentations, entering new hires into payroll system, and submitting employment verification through E-Verify;
  • Serves as point of contact for search firms and all other recruiting vendors;
  • Creates new hire files and ensures completeness of employment files and records. Compiles reports from payroll database and applicant tracking system as needed;
  • Creates weekly Recruiting Report for Executive Management;
  • Manages internal transfer paperwork and approval process;
  • Reviews and approves recruitment-related vendor invoices for accuracy and prepares check requests for invoice payment. Researches and resolves escalated billing issues involving third party vendors;
  • Partner with the HR team on special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required;
  • Two to three years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the IT industry a plus;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with applicant tracking systems required. Experience in ADP Workforce Now a plus;
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and recruitment best practices;
  • Ability to develop strong personal credibility and trusted relationships with managers and employees;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop accurate and clear written communication materials;
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, and complete work with minimal supervision;
  • Strong attention to detail for managing accuracy of data.
