Position Summary   
The Senior Hybrid Cloud Sales Consultant drives growth of Meridian’s x86 hybrid solutions—including private cloud, public cloud, and on-premises “XaaS” solutions—across both existing and new accounts. This role partners closely with Meridian Account Managers and strategic partners to design, position, and close complex Cloud and Managed Services opportunities.
 
This individual leads customer engagements to uncover business and technical requirements, design hybrid cloud solutions, present recommendations, and support contract closure. The consultant also collaborates with delivery teams to ensure smooth deployment and customer satisfaction.
 
The ideal candidate combines technical depth, sales acumen, and business insight, serving as a thought leader and key contributor to Meridian’s overall hybrid cloud growth.
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
Sales & Customer Engagement 
  • Drive the sales and adoption of Meridian’s x86 hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Partner with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and advance x86 hybrid cloud solutions opportunities.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions to understand strategic goals, technical requirements, and business drivers.
  • Develop proposals, pricing models, and solution documentation aligned to customer needs.
  • Present hybrid cloud strategies and solutions clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Support deal negotiation and contract formulation.

Solution Design & Delivery
  • Architect and scope hybrid cloud environments leveraging private cloud, public cloud, and on-prem capabilities.
  • Design and document solutions that integrate compute, storage, and network components.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure technical accuracy and customer satisfaction during deployment.
  • Contribute to reusable documentation, design templates, and knowledge-sharing resources for the broader practice.

Practice & Business Development
  • Contribute to the evolution of Meridian’s hybrid cloud service portfolio, offerings, and pricing models.
  • Provide field insight to refine processes, methodologies, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support the creation of technical and non-technical collateral used for marketing, training, and enablement.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

Professional Development & Collaboration
  • Stay current on hybrid cloud platforms (HPE GreenLake, Azure, AWS) and obtain relevant certifications.
  • Participate in internal team meetings, training sessions, and cross-practice initiatives.
  • Support process improvement efforts that enhance delivery quality and sales efficiency.
 
Qualifications and Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced technical or business education a plus.
  • Proven record of success in selling or supporting XaaS, Cloud, or Managed Services solutions.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and key platforms—HPE GreenLake, Microsoft Azure, AWS.
  • Strong discovery, qualifications, and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
  • Skilled in relationship-building, persuasion, and value-based selling.
  • Experience developing project scopes, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and infrastructure integration concepts.
  • Exceptional written communication and documentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and client-focused with a strong work ethic.
 
Education and Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of proven successful sales
